Yarra River

Take a sightseeing cruise along the Yarra River or stroll along its banks to the wonderful shopping, cafes and restaurants of the Southgate Arts and leisure precinct. Enjoy crown entertainment complex to learn about Melbourne's maritime history at the Polly Woodside Museum. Visit two of Melbourne's sporting icons Melbourne Park home to the Australian Open and the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Explore Melbourne Zoo, a world of wildlife just minutes from the city centre, exhibiting more than 350 animal species. Then enjoy the Rialto Observation Deck's panoramic views. Take a tram to one of Melbourne's unique inner villages of Fitzroy, South Yarra, St Kilda, Carlton or Richmond.

City Circle Tram: The distinctive burgundy and gold City Circle tram provides a free and convenient way to move around the city and passes a number of sights and attractions including New Quay dining and entertainment precinct. Running along Flinders Street, Harbour Esplanade, La Trobe Street and Spring Street, the journey takes nearly 50 minutes, although it can be used as a hop on, hop off service.Trams run in both directions every 12 minutes from 10am-6pm seven days a week (except Christmas Day and Good Friday). During daylight saving hours are extended on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to 9pm.

Note: The City Circle Tram is not accessible for wheelchair users.

Stroll through Melbourne's famous gardens including the Royal Botanical Gardens or Fitzroy Gardens home to Captain Cook's Cottage. Take in some history at the Old Melbourne Goal and the Old Treasury Building.

Browse along Collins Street for exclusive European designs and unique jewellery. Visit the Queen Victoria Markets, modern Melbourne Central, Australia on Collins and Collins 234.
