Low budget accommodation

Much of the backpacker style accommodation is located on the northern side of the CBD in the precinct known as Northbridge. This is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Convention centre. Some however are located in more remote suburbs such as Highgate , Yokine and North Perth and these should be avoided because of the relative inconvenience of public transport in Perth (Backpackers Accommodation).
