Why these resources require user authentication

This area contains a variety of information resources and benefits for exclusive use by AuPS members (and members of other societies involved in joint meetings). These include: important information on upcoming meetings; the ability to search the member database for contact details; change your database entry; find out about your current subscription status; and to read the Constitution and Domestic Rules of the Society, amongst other things.

This exclusive access is controlled by use of a username and password.

Username = email address

When asked for user identification, you must provide your full email address, including the mail hostname/domain. This must be the email address AuPS has on record. Entry of the email address is case sensitive, so if AuPS has been given your email address as "User@University.edu.au", entering "user@university.edu.au" will not work.

Password

Your initial password will have been emailed to you. Enter your password exactly as provided. The password is case sensitive. If you wish to change your password, you can select the "Change your password" link. once you have been authenticated to the server,

Changing your email address

Once you have been authenticated to the server, you can select the "Check your Database Entry" link. Your membership information will be displayed, and you will be offered the opportunity to edit it.
