Free communciation sessions will consist of a 10min oral presention plus 5min of question time. Presentations will take place at the Gold Coast and may be live streamed to the hubs. If you are attending the Gold Coast, and wish to be considered for an oral presentaion, please select 'oral presentation' when submitting your abstract.

Poster presentations will have two components and require presenters to create a short video and a poster for presentation at the poster session. Poster sessions will be take place at both the host conference venue at the Gold Coast and at each of the conference hubs. Videos will be uploaded to the website and be made available for viewing by conference attendees. If you wish to be considered for a poster presentation, please select 'poster' when submitting your abstract.

Abstracts should conform to the following guidelines:
When submitting your abstract you will be asked what type of abstract you are submitting for the free communication sessions. Please enter your preference to present an oral presentation or poster.
*We request that speakers presenting invited talks, symposia and free communication sessions attend the conference on the Gold Coast (please contact Deanne Skelly (d.skelly@griffith.edu.au), the local organising committee Chair if COVID restrictions prevent this). Those presenting poster sessions can do so from the hubs.
Please follow the abstract preparation instructions and upload your abstract as a Word document (.doc or .docx format).
Figures must be uploaded as separate files and not embedded in the document. Please upload figures separately as one of the portable image formats (PNG, GIF, JPG, TIFF).
Please note you must be a financial registrant before submitting an abstract.
Student members can nominate if they wish to be considered for student prizes (oral and poster) during the registration process
